Batman: Arkham Origins is a new game for the iPhone, iPad and Android based on the console game of the same name. The console version is an action adventure game; this, on the other hand, is a beat em up fighting game, much like the mobile version of Injustice: Gods Among Us as far as gameplay goes, except that you play only as Batman, but with a huge inventory of batsuits, special skills and upgrades. Read on for some tips and tricks for Batman: Arkham Origins!
At times you are going to be stuck in a certain area where it’s far more difficult to progress than you had expected. If you’re low on upgrade points and you can’t win the battle that you’re stuck on, go back to a previous area with easier battles, such as Uptown Gotham, then fight some easier battles to earn upgrade points and experience points so that you can get more upgrades.
Sometimes, though, tough battles can be beaten just by a little bit of strategy and stance-switching. After you finish off a combo, right when (or right before) your adversary begins to use their enraged attack, very quickly switch from the assault stance to the guarded stance and then hit the “block” button. The combination of the guarded stance and blocking can drop the damage done to you by between 70 and 90 percent, depending on the levels of your various upgrades.
Skills are cheap and easy upgrades, so put your focus on upgrading these if you want to get the most bang for your upgrade points, especially on upgrading Fisticuffs and Pinpoint Accuracy. However, put an equal amount of focus on unlocking the special attacks for both the assault stance and the guarded stance, because the special attacks can often make the only difference between a victory and a loss.
If you run out of stamina, you will be able to regain it immediately by setting the time ahead on your device, and then going back to the game. Set it ahead by about an hour, and it should completely refill. Occasionally if you try it, it will crash the game, but this occurs very rarely, and if this happens, you can recover everything by simply setting the time back to normal, shutting down the app, and then reopening it again. None of your saved data will be jeopardized.
Save up your upgrade points for new batsuits if you want to make a huge impact in battle. Batsuits are VERY expensive, but they are usually worth it, because you’ll have far more attack, defense and health, enabling you to beat even the toughest of stages.
